Step 3: Join or Create a League
You can either join an existing league with friends or create your own. Each league can have up to 12 participants. Private leagues require an invitation code, while public leagues are open to everyone.
Step 4: Draft Your Team
Participate in the draft to select players for your team. You'll need to choose players for different positions: outside hitters, middle blockers, setters, liberos, and opposite hitters.
Game Mechanics
Your team will consist of 12 players:
- 3 Outside Hitters (OH)
- 3 Middle Blockers (MB)
- 2 Setters (S)
- 2 Liberos (L)
- 2 Opposite Hitters (OPP)
From these players, you'll need to select your active lineup for each match day. Your active lineup will include 7 players: 2 OH, 2 MB, 1 S, 1 L, and 1 OPP.
Your players earn points based on their real-world performance in volleyball matches. Points are awarded for various actions including:
- Attacks (kills, attempts, errors)
- Serves (aces, errors)
- Blocks (solos, assists)
- Digs and receptions
- Assists
For a detailed breakdown of point values, check our Points System page.
In each round, your team will be matched against another team in your league. The team with the higher total score for that round wins. The season is divided into several rounds, followed by playoffs for the top teams.
There are different types of leagues:
- Standard Leagues: Season-long competition with head-to-head matchups
- Tournament Leagues: Short-term leagues that follow real volleyball tournaments
- Daily Leagues: One-day competitions focusing on a single day's matches
Throughout the season, you can make changes to your team:
- Transfers: Replace players in your team with available players from the player pool. Each league has a set number of transfers allowed per season.
- Trades: Exchange players with other managers in your league. Both managers must agree to the trade for it to be processed.
- Free Agents: Pick up players who are not currently on any team in your league.
Tips for Success
Research Players
Stay updated on player performance, injuries, and upcoming matches. Players who get more playing time generally have more opportunities to score points.
Check Match Schedules
Some teams play more matches in a given round than others. Players with more matches have more opportunities to earn points.
Balance Your Team
Don't focus solely on attackers. A well-balanced team with strong players in all positions will generally perform better over the season.
Look for Value
Sometimes lesser-known players can provide great value. Look for players who are performing well but might be overlooked by other managers.
