How Scoring Works in Box Fantasy Score

Our points system is designed to accurately reflect the real-world impact of volleyball players based on their in-game performance. Below is a detailed breakdown of how points are awarded for different volleyball actions.

Offensive Actions

Action Points Description
Kill +4 A successful attack that results in a point
Attack Attempt +0.5 Any attack attempt that doesn't result in an error
Attack Error -2 An attack that results in an error (out of bounds, into the net, etc.)
Service Ace +3 A serve that directly results in a point
Service Error -1 A serve that results in an error

Defensive Actions

Action Points Description
Block Solo +3 A solo block that results in a point
Block Assist +1.5 A block assist that results in a point
Dig +1 Successfully receiving an attack
Reception Error -1 Failure to properly receive a serve

Setting Actions

Action Points Description
Assist +1 A set that leads directly to a kill
Setting Error -1 An error made while setting

Bonus Points

Action Points Description
Double-Double +5 Achieving double-digit numbers in two statistical categories
Triple-Double +10 Achieving double-digit numbers in three statistical categories
Match Win +2 Bonus points when player's real team wins their match
MVP Award +5 Bonus points for being named MVP of a match
